Work for Orphans
Trip code: IND2

Whilst India is developing well and the standard of living has improved a great deal, many people however continue to live in grinding poverty. Many orphaned children continue to roam the streets of major cities as there is no government help for them. There are many orphanages that are raising the children and helping them avoid life of the street. The orphanages provide accommodation, food, clothing and education to the children. But the financial conditions of many orphanages are very precarious and they could really do with help from volunteers. So volunteer now and help the orphanages take care of the children. You’ll also contribute in the development of the children and make them capable of dreaming of a brighter future. This really is an idea volunteer project if you’re looking to serve humanity.

Project/Volunteer's Life:

A volunteer in the orphanage can do many things. Your major focus will be to take for the children in many different aspect. For instance, you’ll teach the children English and other subjects and help them understand and finish their homework. If the children are really young, you’ll teach them nursery rhymes and play games with them. You’ll also make sure they eat properly, shower and wash properly and change into clean clothes. You can help with the kitchen chores and learn to cook Indian food and clean the orphanage also.
